the EST according to Mikey T
the coolEST....
1) camera that you've used?
I love my Hasselblad 501cm. But the cooooolest... I'm not sure... maybe when I used a 4x5 for the first time. That was a rad experience. For those who aren't really into photography, a 4x5 camera is one of those big cameras where you have the sheet over your head to view what you're photographing.

2) vacation spot that you been to?
Sydney, Australia. Great city. Great waves. Nice people. And it's really easy to find your way around because they speak English.
3) wave you caught and where?
Hawaii. Rocky Point Lefts. Got a fat barrel, came out and hit the end section. Got so much air. When I landed, my back cracked.... but it was well worth it. Did I mention there was a double rainbow over my head the whole time? Yeah... that was a moment to remember.
4) way to relieve the stress?
Family, Friends, Bodyboarding, Bike Riding, Loooots of Laughter. I hardly ever stress over stuff. If I do, it's only for a short time period.
5) perks of the job?
Meeting a bunch of cool people and seeing how things work behind the scenes. Insider info is interesting to me. You get to find out about what ever anyone else is talking about or into, but you heard about it from the horses mouth instead of on a blog.
6) jeans in your closet?
Haven't you heard???? Jon Phenom - "F1rst Born Denim!" (whatup phenom!)
7) bag?
Just picked up the Burton "Zoom" Pack... Finally, a dope photo bag. Burton/Gravis always has the best bags for everything. Backpacks or Travel luggage... they have it on lock.
8) new era hat?
Not a New Era... But PreQuel x Elm fitted hat is ill! (whatup PQ family!)
9) place in Orange County to get some good cheap eats?
Alejandro's or Taco Mesa! Good Mexican food. Either that... or my grandmother's kitchen. If I'm in LA, it's some sidewalk vendors... bacon wrapped hot dogs with grilled green peppers and onions (those will send you to an early death, but they're sooo good!), or some carne asada tacos from a taco stand..
10) non work related shot?
Not my photograph... so i guess it'd be "non work related." I just love the expression on the kid's face. It's always a photograph that's stuck out in my mind. I'm actually surprised this kid hasn't made it on a t.shirt yet. But I guess people just don't know...
