Commonwealth X DC in VA

X Commonwealth X DC shoes equal the Gatsby shoe. On My way back from NC I stopped and popped into the Commonwealth instore reception for their DC collab. The shoe is based on the Maharam "Eames Dot" Fabric. The reception was dope. The guys at Commonwealth painted the back display wall in the Eames Dot pattern (which they time lapsed the entire installation). All of the VA massive and DC company men game out to support the collab. After the reception everyone went to Red Star Tavern for party party time. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to that because I had to try to beat the snow storm in NY....

FACTORIES BUILDING FLAVA DAILY

I went down to NC to and stopped on by the two Flava Factory stores. Store Number one which is located at 2041 South Blvd. Charlotte, NC has a medieval theme. Swords, knives, maces and faux deer skulls are minor accessories in relation to the life sized knight armor and throne. The store is a definite destination for all those who are searching for some of the latest in street wear and sneakers.

















Store Number two is located at 1519 Central Ave. Charlotte, NC. I had the privilege to see some of the current build out. The theme of the store has moved away from the King Arthur's court and into a hip bar theme. The size of this store is almost triple the size of there first store. They have added an elevated bar with stool seating and full mirrored shelved back splash. They also have a VIP shopping area that is only accessible to the elite shoppers. But that aint all folks. There is also a full state of the art barbershop in the back called "Against the Grain". Ok enuff talk just check the pics.

The Foundation Party at Privé

100 movers and shakers in the industry found there way through the Planet Hollywood casino floor from the Bespoke dinner to Prive. Once again Coltrane Curtis has put together the Bespoke 3 dinner/party with the Foundation. For those that are not in the know of the Foundation it is the unification of the Museum Group and the Vanguard Group sales agencies (consisting of principle partners Dre Hayes, Ari Langsdorf, Antwain Freeman and Daniel Yadgard). Hence the annual Bespoke dinner/party was the Foundation's debut to the retail industry. Below are a couple of the flicks of the party people celebratin' through intoxication!!!!
