GOING HI & LO

A while back we already gave you a look at a strong line-up of collaborations coming for the Hi & Lo exhibition by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Takashi Murakami. The collaborations included Visvim sneakers, Kangol hats, Head Porter bags, Levi’s Fenom denim and more.


Today we give you a look at some more collaborations that were done for the occasion of the exhibition. There is another Visvim sneaker coming, this time featuring an all-over flower pattern by Takashi Murakami. Furthermore there is a series of t-shirts coming, a collaboration between Kaikai Kiki and Fragment Design. Via Honeyee.

Reebok’s ‘Elephant’ pack consists of an Omni Lite Pump and a Court Victory. Both have an upper featuring an elephant upper mixed with some pink, black, and white. They just arrived at Overkill.

A FURRY LIFE

Alife introduce a new shoe for the Fall/Winter seasons. The Chuck features a silhouette taking cues from Clarks’ classic Desert Boot, to which they added a faux fur upper, and a neoprene booty. They come in black, and brown colourways.

WINICHE & CO STRAIGHT OUTTA BK.

Winiche & Co. have released their Fall collection. They offer a wide selection of items, ranging from tees to hoodies, jackets, caps, and more. With a Brooklyn aesthetic including a heavy use of camouflage, the new collection is now available through their online shop.

UNIQLO TS VENDING MACHINES

If you were beginning to think that Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo was settling in to business as usual with their US retail presence, November 18 might prove that wrong. Remember back two years ago back two years ago when prior to opening the flagship store in Soho, the company setup a number of shipping containers transformed into popup shops around NYC.


Next month’s event in Times Square will promote the Heat Tech innerwear line. Uniqlo is giving away free Heat Tech items that will be distributed by a ‘Giant Human Vending Machine’ Yes, you read that correctly. Amy Odell of NYMag spoke to a representative at Uniqlo who described what is going to take place.

The sneaker is part of the 1WORLD Project and is the brain child of Pedro "Busy P" Winter and So-Me the Art Director of Busy P's label Ed Banger Records. With is quick sell through in France Nike decided to drop 100 pairs at there 21 Mercer Street Nike Sportswear store, on Thursday, October 30th. And the following day they will release another 100 at the Nike Sportswear store in L.A. So you better get busy.

New product drop from BBC/Ice Cream Tokyo flagship store. They produced corduroy blazers as part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Details include an emblem tag on the chest and gold silk lining. The blazer comes in beige and navy blue. They also offer matching pants to the blazers.

ALIEN AT THE PUMP

Alien Stomper Artist Collection. Also this pack consists of three colorways of the Alien Stomper and they did a great job keeping it clean and solid. The pack includes grey suede/white, all silver and black/gold colorways with tonal artwork applied to the strap and on the back heel. The good choice of colors and materials gives the sneaker a nice premium look.

Nepenthes is a company behind the big names of Engineered Garments, Needles, etc. The company started at late eighties, when Keizo Shimizu just begin his Distribution and wholesaler venture, which focused on high street fashion to classic menswear.

Their latest collaboration project featured Japan based fashion label, Number (N)ine. The two companies have a strong alliance as Number (N)ine’s founder Takahiro Miyashita was part of Nepenthes team.The Collection range from tops to bottoms, including jackets, sweats, pants and boots with a strong purple theme behind it.

10DEEP I VS I

Come one come all Chanel’s mobile art pavilion continues its tour with an opening today in Central Park. The structure designed by architect Zaha Hadid was engineered to reflect a traditional quilted Chanel bag.
